Snow day fun!

Snow days are the best!  Here are a few ideas to add to the fun:
  1. Bundle up and go play in the snow! clipart-snowman
  2. Sled down a hill
  3. Ski on your driveway
  4. Build a snowman, snow woman, snow family, snow dog, snow gator, a whole snow foot ball team, mini snow people, snow hut, snow village – you get the idea!
  5. Have a snowball fight – or at least make hundreds of snow balls  and a snow fort or barricade so your ready for the action!
  6. Look for animal tracks in the snow – try to figure out who left them
  7. Make a Snow angel
  8. Make a path  - have some one follow your path
  9. take pictures of the snow
  10. shovel a walk way
  11. Help a neighbor shovel their driveway or walk way
  12. feed the winter birds and squirrels with bread or bird seed – watch them from a window or make bird feeders!
  13. cut snow flakes and hang them on thread on the ceiling so it is snowing inside too!
  14. sip hot cocoa
  15. eat grilled cheese sandwiches with hot soup!laura's 030
  16. measure the snow – try to measure in a few places – figure out why it might be different
  17. Make summer time snowballs: find a patch of fresh clean snow, fill a cup add juice – mmm!
  18. Sit and listen to the snow fall.
  19. Catch Snowflakes on your tongue
  20. look at snow flakes with a magnifying glass – care not to get too close – or they’ll melt
